About the course
Operator Licence Awareness Training is designed to help operators, directors, restricted licence holders and transport staff understand their operator licence responsibilities.
The course covers key areas of transport compliance, including O-licence undertakings, maintenance systems, driver management, record keeping, enforcement risk and Traffic Commissioner expectations.

VR Safe Driving Course - FORS Silver & Gold
About the course
The VR Safe Driving course has been designed to support operators working towards or maintaining FORS Bronze and Silver standards.
The course uses immersive VR training to help drivers better understand road risk, vulnerable road users, urban driving hazards and safe driving behaviours. Internal course material describes the training as an immersive 7-hour Safe Urban Driving course, with scenarios and objectives linked to FORS training requirements.
The course is suitable for professional drivers, fleet operators and businesses that need practical driver training as part of their FORS compliance and wider road risk management.
The training covers key areas such as vulnerable road user awareness, concentration and hazard perception, safe urban driving, journey planning, bridge strike awareness and the impact of freight activity in urban environments.
Training is delivered in an engaging and practical way, using VR scenarios to make the learning more realistic and memorable for drivers. This training course is held at our TDi office in Clay Cross, Chesterfield.

Transport Manager CPC Course
About the course
Alpha HGV delivers an 8-day Transport Manager CPC course, plus a separate Skills and Education Group exam day.
The course supports learners preparing for the Transport Manager CPC qualification and covers key areas including operator licensing, drivers’ hours, vehicle maintenance, compliance systems, financial standing, enforcement and exam preparation.
The training is practical, structured and designed to help learners understand how transport compliance applies in real-world operations.
